Com-Unic was founded in 1999 by our CEO Alexander Seiler, with the goal of creating a consulting firm that helps to improve communication across cultures and to strengthen mutual understanding.

Gradually, the core topic of intercultural consulting was expanded to include compatible services such as international leadership workshops, coaching or systemic consulting.

In addition, several subsidiary companies developed under Com-Unic’s auspices, which further enhanced the topic of intercultural communication. These include the Com-Unic Translation Hotline and the Com-Unic LifeCycle Portfolio.

About the Com-Unic Founder Alexander Seiler

While studying law at the Heidelberg University, Alexander founded Com-Unic, a global communication consultancy company. Since 2000, this has grown to become the Com-Unic Corporate Group with various business areas that focus on international development for organizations and staff, international communication strategy consulting, international talent management, global internal corporate communication processes with focus on intercultural competencies and human ressources.


Alexander has been the CEO of the Com-Unic Corporate Group for over 17 years. In addition, from 2009 to late 2011, he was also an advisory member of the board of managers of a private university based in London and Brussels, where Alexander was instrumental in establishing new structures.

As a result of this Alexander was awarded an honorary professorship by the Universitée Nouvelle Européenne in Brussels for co-planning the new university, organizational and management structures, and new teaching and learning methods.

As part of his work, Alexander initiated and led several international projects. His responsibilities included designing and implementing business processes and heading international (project) consulting teams. During the course of his career Alexander has worked with leading academic and economic experts, as a result of which he has wide and international network throughout all kind of business.
